Buyer questions

Frequently asked questions

What buyers ask before ordering: what we make, where it is made, how a project is quoted and scheduled, and what is supplied.

What does Foshan Mingjia Aluminium manufacture?

We manufacture office glass partition systems in three families: all-aluminium, steel-core aluminium-clad, and all-steel fire-rated, plus double-glazed partitions with integrated blinds. We extrude and process our own aluminium partition profiles in Nanhai, Foshan, Guangdong, China.

Where is the factory and when was the company established?

The factory is at 17-1 Niuti Road, Lidong Linan Village, Dali Town, Nanhai District, Foshan, Guangdong, China. The company was established on 2019-10-23; its Unified Social Credit Code is 91440605MA53XPYT0U.

Can you quote from drawings instead of a price list?

Yes. We quote per project against drawings, a schedule of areas and quantities, because the profile series, glass build-up, hardware, site access and quantity all change the cost. We do not publish a unit price.

What is the minimum order quantity?

1 m2. Small projects are accepted, and material-only supply (profiles and glass with drawings and a technical briefing) is also possible.

Do you supply overseas projects?

Yes. We support overseas projects with FOB or CIF terms and customs documentation, and with shop drawings, packing lists and technical data for the destination market.

What verifiable test data do you publish?

Two third-party inspection reports. Report CS425113133AQ734Z covers a steel-core aluminium-clad glass partition system: measured sound reduction Rw 46 dB against a requirement of at least 42 dB, wind load Class 5, water tightness Class 4, fire reaction Class B1. Report CS925706226AQ947Z covers aluminium profiles for glass partitions: 19 test items passed, measured tensile strength 230 N/mm2 and Webster hardness 13.0 HW. No ISO certification is claimed.

What lead time can you commit to?

Lead time is set per project: typical production runs a few weeks after shop drawings are signed, and site installation is scheduled around the building's access and working hours. The dates are stated in the order, not quoted as a general rule.

How long does installation take on site?

Installation is planned bay by bay against the programme. A single office floor is normally measured, assembled and handed over in stages so that part of the office can stay in use, but the duration depends on the quantity, the floor access and whether the ceiling and floor are already in place.

Can you install while the office is occupied?

Yes, with a staged programme: we set up a work zone, protect the finished floor and adjacent partitions, and work in phases agreed with the client's facilities team. Noise and dust-generating steps are scheduled outside the busiest hours.

What warranty do you give?

The warranty is stated in the contract per system and per component. Profile, glass, hardware and installation each carry their own terms; the maintenance items are explained at handover, and replacements are supplied from the same production line.

How are partitions packed for export?

Glass and profiles are packed separately. Glass is crated with edge protection and corner blocks; profiles are bundled by elevation with labels matching the shop drawings; hardware is boxed per bay. Packing lists and photos are sent before the container is sealed.

Can I buy profiles only?

Yes. We supply profiles, glass, integrated blinds and hardware as one package, or profiles only where the buyer cuts and assembles locally. Drawing-based production and OEM under the buyer's brand are both available.

Still have a question?

Send the floor plan, the use of each room and any acoustic or fire requirement. We answer against the project, not with a standard pitch.
