Send us your drawings and the information listed below. We return a quotation line by line, covering the profile series, the glass build-up and the hardware. If the drawings are not ready yet, describe the areas, the floor heights and what each room is used for, and we will suggest the system.

Email is the working channel for enquiries from outside China. Drawings, schedules of areas and specifications stay in one thread, and every point can be answered in writing. We aim to reply within one business day.

What to send for a quotation

The six items below are everything we need to quote accurately. Send what you have — we will ask about the rest.

Elevations or drawingsDWG, PDF or a schedule of areas, or a plain take-off list. Include floor-to-floor heights, and any ceiling, beam or structural line the partition has to meet.

Use and floor height of each areaOpen office, meeting room, boardroom, reception, corridor or fire compartment. Floor height decides whether the partition stops above the ceiling or runs to the slab.

Acoustic or fire requirementA target Rw figure, or the fire resistance rating and whether the partition has to be insulating or non-insulating.

Glass preferenceSingle-glazed panoramic, double-glazed with integrated blinds, switchable privacy glass (PDLC), frosted or reeded. Say whether you want toughened, laminated or insulating glass.

Quantities and destination portArea in square metres, number of doors and door types, and the port you want the quotation delivered to.

Trade termsFOB or CIF, or another Incoterm your company works with.

How an overseas order runs

Step 1

Quotation against drawings

Send the drawings or a schedule of areas. We quote line by line against them — profile series, glass build-up, hardware, and FOB or CIF terms at your port.

Step 2

Sample and profile confirmation

Before production, the section, the finish and the glass build-up are confirmed. Colour and surface finish are settled against a sample or a reference panel you approve.

Step 3

Production

Profiles are produced, coated and machined in our own factory. Glass, integrated blinds, gaskets and hardware are supplied with them as one package.

Step 4

Export documentation

Our business licence covers the import and export of goods and technology, together with import and export agency services. Documents are issued in the name of Foshan Mingjia Aluminium Co., Ltd.

Two points worth settling early

InstallationOn projects in China, our own installation team measures, installs and finishes the partitions we supply, without subcontracting. Overseas projects are supplied as a package — profiles, glass, integrated blinds and hardware — for local installation.

Documents for a submittalTest reports, the business licence and the trademark certificates can be issued to consultants and main contractors. The report numbers are listed on the certificates page; ask for the copies you need and we will send them with the quotation.

Write to us with the drawings or a description of the areas. One email is usually enough to start: we will come back with the system, the profile series and a line-by-line quotation. We aim to reply within one business day.

If the layout is still being designed, send the plan as it stands. A floor plan with room names and floor heights is enough for us to propose a system and a profile series; the quotation is then confirmed once the elevations are fixed.
